Happiness

When people are asked what they want most in life, they will often reply with answers such as wealth, relationships, good job, sports car, travel etc. Clearly these are all means to an end to achieve certain values that we hold dear. These values differ from individual to individual and consist of things such as; security, freedom, excitement, intimacy and connection. Ultimately everything we do in life is to feel a certain way. In other words, having lots of money is a means to an end rather than an end itself. Money can provide us with the ability to do and have many things, which in turn will lead us to feel certain emotions we strive for such as excitement and inner peace for example.

As I have mentioned elsewhere we all possess a model of reality through which we experience life. This model of reality is the sum of all your life experiences and perceptions over time and differs from person to person. This explains why two individuals can experience the same event but have a completely different interpretation of what happened. One interpretation may be disempowering and negative, whilst the other automatically puts a positive spin on what happened and keeps things in perspective. Happy people are those individuals who (consciously or otherwise), have found a way to easily achieve their core values and interpret the world in an empowering way.

This is easier said than done especially if an individual has had a lot of negative experiences throughout their life. In the “Mind Engineer’s Guide to Happiness”, a very definite and distinct strategy is outlined along with tools that can be used on a day to day basis. In addition to explaining the best ways to use PSTEC, many other practical tools, techniques and perspectives on life are put to the reader that can massively enhance your life experience. The information and tools taught within will differ significantly from what you might experience by visiting a counsellor or other mental health professional, so if you have visited others in the past without success, expect different results with these techniques.

The “Mind Engineer’s Guide to Happiness” will be available as a download this autumn. If you are interested in this product please click here and enter HAPPINESS in the subject line and I will keep you updated.
